11岁的小学6年级女孩宫浦桃子（美山加恋 配音）在父亲意外去世后，随母亲郁子（优香 配音）从东京迁到了濑户内海的汐岛。忙碌的母亲无暇顾及桃子，令桃子在新环境中时常感到孤单无助。桃子一直保留着父亲只写下了“给桃子”这样开头的一封信，但是始终无法明白父亲想要通过信件传达给她的话 。 初到汐岛，桃子打开了阁楼里一个装着描绘妖怪画册的旧盒子，从此开始察觉到身边一连串不可思议的事情。“汐岛上一定存在着什么东西”，怀抱着这样想法的桃子，在汐岛奇异而热闹的夏天里邂逅到的竟会是……？
本片由日本知名动画公司Production I.G制作，是《人狼》导演沖浦啓之睽违多年的温馨治愈之作。 Clinging to an unfinished letter written by her recently deceased father, young Momo moves with her mother from bustling Tokyo to the remote Japanese island of Shio. Upon their arrival, she begins to explore her new habitat, meeting local children and learning their routines and customs. However, it's not long before several bizarre occurrences crop up around the previously tranquil island. Orchards are found ransacked, prized trinkets start disappearing and, worst of all, each morning after her mother leaves for work, Momo hears strange mumblings coming from the attic of their home. Annoyed by these creepy goings-on and her mother's refusal to believe them, Momo embarks on a strange and supernatural adventure to discover the source of the mischief, which leads her to a trio of troublesome imps: the flatulent lizard Kawa, the childlike Mame and their hulking ogre leader Iwa. Momo also learns that her visit to the island is in some way connected to her father's mysterious letter.

画风太喜欢了，把濑户内海的岛屿风光和悠然治愈的日常，表现得好舒服，看得我“乡愁”又起啊。在片尾字幕看到背景制作团队里男鹿和雄的名字，有种“啊，怪不得”的感觉，画面中隐隐的“吉卜力风”，就来自与此吧。

风景画得还不错，人可真丑啊，剧情也很拖沓。小清新果然不是万能胶，无感。
我又被治愈了，很日式的怪力乱神，江户川时代的鬼怪显形，放在西方它们明明都是守护天使，一个很有日本民族特色的亲情故事，很日式的情感表达方式，有什么话都不会轻易的说出来，不言说也是一种真挚的爱。有笑点有泪点，很完美了。★★★
3.5。歪脖子的手纸。1.神明落魄了，就成了妖怪。2.大手笔外化看不见的东西，也能拍得很好看，但灵性远不如[龙猫]。3.风景又不能吃。4.人死后会在地上飘荡一段时间，再升上天。5.精怪群集、鬼火幢幢的雨夜高潮，好美。6.治愈系画风永远陶冶人心+1。
情感饱和度和剧情内容都要比去年的纯爱动画《萤火之森》丰富。很小的一个切入点，能做足两个小时的动画长片，真是佩服日本动画的想象力 and 墨迹…
鬼怪小清新，比宫崎骏更松散、清淡，但我喜欢。算今年最喜欢的卡通片。“桃子”在日语里的发音是“么么酱”，记下了。还记下一句话，是桃子外公说的，他给外孙女讲妖怪史的时候，说，“神明落魄了，就成了妖怪。”是啊，神明落魄了，就成了妖怪，多有人情味的话。
IG出品质量上没得说，没想到《人狼》的导演现在也走治愈系了，妖怪题材的动画一直有爱，细节把握的很好，平淡中带给人感动，不过还是稍显拖沓，清新有余后劲不足，中规中距吧。
少女自强与奇幻色彩总是百看不厌，略平面，不过其纯净真的很治愈。
温馨治愈系。远离都市的美景、淡淡的忧伤再配上鬼怪传说，想起之前看过的《萤火之森》。西田敏行的声音辨识度真高啊。
全片最大亮点是西田大叔的配音，一开口就听出来了好嘛！另外深深觉得那个妖怪的人设就是按照西田叔来的〜
少女独立自强的主题真是人民群众喜闻乐见的题材哇
四星半。剧情……基本是《龙猫》加《神是中学生》，这样总结可以么…… 就别说本片模仿吉卜力了，首先，剧组中有部分人员曾参与过吉卜力作品。其次，吉卜力也不过是“世界名著剧场”出身的分支中最有名的一帮而已，这种清新风格并非吉卜力首创，也就无所谓抄袭了。
