A Boston judge bored with his life leaves his family and heads off for adventure. He gets a job as a short-order cook at a roadside diner and soon finds romance with the pretty owner. He also gets involved in helping her adopt an orphan. His bliss may be short-lived when he has to choose between staying at the diner or returning home.
男主回家后的部分还是处理得挺不落俗套的，意识到自己想要什么后摆脱了无爱的婚姻但也不至于为一次艳遇改变人生轨迹；为让男主不显得像个不负责任的混蛋而借女主之口说出男主所想还是稍显生硬。
