一个歌剧电视转播/音乐电影片导演的西部片，形式还挺杀死比尔的不晓得昆丁看过没，设定迥异各具象征的四段复仇，摄影打光考究，高度风格化：赌徒段落配情调爵士、恶棍神父Celi搭配三个火把大概象征三位一体、末段一转色彩蓝紫的哥特废教堂等可惜精力都在风格上剧情颇蠢仇人个个战五渣完全不能显出主角厉害。男主虽是无名美国之辈四个配角咖位并不差，托马斯米连演的白化病坏蛋简直是个对黄金/金发发情的痴汉，害怕（不禁想起了美女丸...）
