A Sangeet Natak Academy awardee, Dr. Sucheta Bhide Chapekar is a senior Bharatnatyam (a classical dance style from southern India) exponent. Along with the firm base of Bharatnatyam technique imparted by her gurus, it was Sucheta's unique approach that made her performance more engaging to the audience. Sucheta Bhide Chapekar pioneered the blend of Bharatnatyam with Hindustani Classical Music (North Indian Classical Music) in her creation \"Nrityaganga\". This film captures Sucheta's journey from childhood, how she evolved as a dancer and brought up a sister dance style of Bharatnatyam called \"Nrityaganga\". This film is a documentation of the thought processes that Sucheta went through, in her own words, through her own interviews. The dancer's perspective towards different concepts in her medium are overlapped and juxtaposed on the visuals which portray Sucheta's humanistic and liberal approach towards the art-form. This in a way becomes an exuberant audio-visual journey that includes Sucheta's perspective towards her life experiences and her relationship with the medium of dance.
