音乐传记片《greetings from tim buckley》的故事取材自Jeff Buckley1991年在纪念父亲的纽约圣安教堂(St. Ann’s Church)音乐会上的首秀。当时他并不是正式演出者，在简单地表达了对父亲的敬意后，演唱了父亲的歌曲 I never asked to be your mountain&once i was 打动了全场观众，也成就了自己的歌唱事业。
本片将以这次演唱会筹备过程中Jeff Buckley的经历为主线，包括他与参加音乐会筹备的一个女孩的恋情，以及他对父亲由怨恨到理解的心路历程。 Greetings from Tim Buckley follows the story of the days leading up to Jeff Buckley's eminent 1991 performance at his father's tribute concert in St. Ann's Church. Through a romance with a young woman working at the concert, he learns to embrace all of his feelings toward the father who abandoned him - longing, anger, forgiveness, and love. Culminating a cathartic performance of his father's most famous songs, Jeff's debut stuns the audience and launches his career as one of the greatest young musicians of his time.

两条时间线交错剪辑呈现出来的效果较寡淡，该表露的父子情感方面力度明显不够，原声和颜值是这部电影值得一看的理由
我们都因为他相聚于此，我们相聚时为了纪念和缅怀，为了我们曾经都热爱的那个人，也正因如此我认识了你。
boring. gossip girl里的Dan 脸还是那么不对劲，唱的也真不好，还爱自我陶醉的拉高音乱发挥，演音乐励志真悲哀了。倒是imogen清唱的一曲让人觉得这女孩还真是有才。
不是为了Tim and Jeff而看的还是最好别看了
被爹的声音迷住多一点
不同时空父子穿插戏满有意思，演tim buckley那个形神俱备啊，唯一能找到的字幕竟然还是机译的，art blakey翻译成艺术布雷基……我要昏倒了，好在音乐还能听听
基本靠原声支撑起整个片子，很多细节太仓促，感情还没酝酿就出来了，有点莫名其妙。。。Penn唱歌原来这么好听！可以跟Leighton一起出唱片了哈哈=w= 极品飞车里的Imogen妹子在里面也好漂亮~最后想感叹一下Tim和Jeff这对Buckley父子真是殊途同归哎（Penn在唱片店里唱的那段Led Zeppelin是哪首想不起来）

文艺气质很讨喜，感觉Tim那根线上略潦草，不过最后的相交还是挺喜欢的。两个喜欢的孩子演情侣对手戏真是美好得化了，盆子唱的真好，演得也灵，期待继续成长><
