The Mooncussers is a 1962 Disney telefilm. It was originally broadcast on NBC as a two-part episode on Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color in December 1962. It was further released theatrically in December 1966.It is about a boy named Jonathan Feather who discovers a group called the Mooncussers, who are pirates that send out false homing signals to ships at sea during the evenings to lure them to go off course and crash on the shore, where they are looted by the Mooncussers.
