萨姆·斯佩德（亨弗莱·鲍嘉 Humphrey Bogart 饰）和搭档阿切尔在旧金山市开了一家侦探事务所。一天，一位贵妇（玛丽·阿斯特 Mary Astor 饰）登门拜访，委托他们寻找自己失踪的妹妹。他们立刻展开调查，发现这名贵妇的妹妹与一位叫做瑟斯的神秘男子在一起。本 来以为这只是一件普通的失踪案，但是事情的发展出乎他们所料。阿切尔在调查案件时被杀害，传说的瑟斯也相继被杀，警方由此怀疑起萨姆与阿切尔的妻子有染而杀掉他的合伙人。深陷泥潭的萨姆依然继续调查案情，他查出贵妇曾与古特曼等流氓倒卖过古玩，之后，古特曼又拜托萨姆帮忙寻找一尊雕像——被称作“马耳他之鹰”的无价之宝。萨姆开始研究起这尊神秘的雕像，结果发现真相就藏在其中。

一直以为Spade是个无情无义，唯利是图，见色起意的人渣，结果高潮全在最后十分钟。鲍嘉的电影金句总是很多。当欧那肖想用女性魅力诱惑他放她一马，他用严肃的表情说出：如果你表现好，二十年后就可以来找我。如果绞死了你，我会永远记得你。真是好酷
腾讯的翻译太差了，反复看睡着，看了好多天啊
黑色电影的代表作，鲍嘉的开山之作，语速奇快咄咄逼人冷酷，片中没有友情，爱情，只有设计与反设计，剧情改编的有点弱，马耳他之鹰居然是这么一个东西，未免有些失望
对比着原著重看一遍。
语速快，人物关系交代的不是很清楚，而且竟然和女主你爱我我爱你的，大家不都是生意人吗？
算一般了
黑白电影，台词快且信息量大，情节靠台词推进，看了也有收获，那个年代能拍出这么情节紧凑的，也很不错了。
好讨厌早期的侦探全知全能又自鸣得意的样子……
根本就没有爱情，他们始终活在自己的谎言和面子里。女人只是点缀，暧昧仅仅只是手段，因为人生的虚无贯穿始终，这就是所有所谓黑色电影的主心骨。

第一部黑色电影：男主说话太快…每个人都说话很快…
经典好莱坞，台词牛逼，剧中人物一个比一个聪明，男主简直就是个职业楷模，不为金钱与色冲昏了头脑。
如果没有其在影史上的“第一黑色”地位，就电影本身而言，真的乏善可陈，令人昏昏欲睡。
经典黑色开山之作。险象环生，反客为主，化险为夷，片叶不留身……每一部黑色片的主角都代表了每个平凡男人的梦想吧。虽然硬汉派跟本格不同，但剧情衔接跟线索诱因实在不够到位。
除了脸盲一开始人认不清人外，挺好的。开头没有弯弯绕绕，结尾也收的干干脆脆。反转效果也不错。
