此为法剧，共四集，每集约九十分钟，改编自三获“国际匕首奖”的法国侦探小说女王弗雷德·瓦格斯（Fred Vargas）的四本犯罪小说，讲述总督察Jean-Baptiste Adamsberg跟他的团队致力于解决那些毛骨悚然的犯罪案件。导演曾拍过2003年群星云集的现代改编版法剧《危险关系》。
