米歇尔（拉妮·玛克赫吉 Rani Mukherjee 饰）是一位同时失去了听觉与视觉的女孩，对于她来说，世界就是一片无穷无尽的混沌黑暗。不幸的遭遇让米歇尔的心中充满了愤怒却无处发泄，她的脾气愈发暴躁，精神渐渐濒临崩溃的边缘。就在此时，一位名叫德布拉杰（阿米达普·巴强 Amitabh Bachchan 饰）的特教老师出现在了米歇尔的身边，企图帮助这个可怜的女孩。
德布拉杰不离不弃地守护在米歇尔的身边，渐渐教会了她同世界交流的方式，随着时间的推移，米歇尔终于找到了生命的意义，甚至考上了大学。然而，此时的德布拉杰却患上了帕金森综合症，米歇尔知道她自己应该做些什么。 Based in Simla, the McNallys are an Anglo-Indian family consisting of Paul and his wife, Catherine. Both are full of joy when Catherine gives birth to a baby girl, Michelle, but their joy is short-lived when they are told that Michellle cannot see nor hear. Both attempt to bring up Michelle in their own protective way, as a result Michelle is not exposed to the real world, and becomes increasingly violent and volatile. Things only get worse when Catherine gives birth to Sara, and Paul considers admitting Michelle in an asylum. It is here that Debraj Sahai enters their lives. Through his eager involvement, Michelle blossoms, grows, gives up her violence, even gets admitted in school with normal children. The years pass by, Michelle does not succeed in getting her graduation, and it is time for Debraj to bid adieu as he is having his own health problems. 12 years later, at the age of 40, Michelle does succeed in graduating in Arts, and it is shortly thereafter she will be re-united with her teacher. No longer the same alcoholic, eccentric, - but a bent older male, who cannot even remember speech, leave alone what he taught. Watch what happens when Michelle attempts to re-enter his 'blank' life.

对一个又瞎又聋女孩坚持教英语不教盲文，也是醉了。瞎子用手语，可以！（向外界表达勉强说的过去，接受也是单手触语），ntm，手写字也行吧！巨大设定bug严重影响体验。一个病不够煽情，两个来凑。看不见听不见，头就是歪的吗？
慢慢你会发现，当上帝关上一扇门后，祂或许还会继续关上一扇窗，两扇窗，甚至全部关上。 但总会留一点光，这就是你的宿命：被驱逐出罗马，只不过是生活于罗马之外而已。
前半部分像极了海伦凯勒，后半部分开始情感发散让人动容潸然泪下，导演很会讲故事一点也不啰嗦拖沓，详略得当，回忆和现实完美糅合，首尾呼应线条归一，节奏感也很好再加上演员演技精湛，不动容都不行。五星都不够，却可惜了这影片太冷门
之前看欧洲电影，一个同样又聋又哑的孩子被修女带大，也是用尽心力教她，感动于每个不放弃老师的执着，谁能为谁付出20多年的时间。女演员从小到大都演的很真切，自己没法表达外界衡量的东西，可以和世界沟通后的亮光。最喜欢那句我们庆祝失败，那是每个成功的开始，谢谢老师的勇气和自己的坚持。
知识是人世间最美的色彩，老师是我们能够触摸的上帝，能够遇到一位好老师，是人生莫大的幸运。感人至深的故事，精彩绝伦的演绎，又聋又哑又失明的黑色世界因伟大的老师绽放风采！
还行，蛮好的，就是没戳到我。该仔细叙述的地方一带而过，反而无谓的内容很多。
黑夜给了我黑色的眼睛，我却看不到光明，可有人把我从黑暗中拖了出来。表演好到让我以为一切都是真实的，推荐。

影片至始至终都有种打动人心的力量 而且居然去除了印度电影中几乎必不可少的歌舞部分。。。。
后半段催泪弹啊，少女时期演的真好跟真的似的
没人觉得这是印度版本的海伦凯勒么。。。。
海伦凯勒的故事还有谁不知道的么？换成印度版的了 还续了一段 | 演绎海伦的故事本来就是个重现奇迹的过程 这个版本演绎得太用力了 虽然没有印度典型的歌舞 不过过度夸张的动作也差不多了
我不喜欢舞台剧,我喜欢但又怀疑感染力.我喜欢好故事,但我不喜欢各类型事件.
大B和rani的演技完全hold住了，摄影画面一直都是SLB的长项，视觉上的美好自然不在话下，加之故事的讲述手法很精道，片子更是赞了！ SLB大叔在我心中俨然就是质量的保证！
