The film tells the story of a small commune in the South of Poland that struggles to survive, weighed down by the debts incurred by the former, overly ambitious mayor. Jan Kulig (former mayor) once experienced a personal tragedy - he lost his beloved son, the famous rally driver Janusz Kulig, with whom he had linked his ambitions until now.
