一次意外中，多米尼克（马塞洛·马斯楚安尼 Marcello Mastroianni 饰）救下了美丽的女子费鲁美娜（索菲娅·罗兰 Sophia Loren 饰），两人一见钟情很快陷入了热恋之中，可惜多米尼克是一个花花公子，随着时间的流逝，他不再专情与费鲁美娜，转而投入了别的女人的怀抱。
费鲁美娜虽然身份卑微，却是专情之人，为了能够成为多米尼克的妻子，她甚至不惜使用了一些欺骗的手段。不幸的是，多米尼克识破了费鲁美娜的谎言，费鲁美娜再度面临着和爱人分离的处境。费鲁美娜有三个孩子，她告诉多米尼克，这其中有他的亲生骨肉，直到这时才良心发现的多米尼克回到了费鲁美娜的身边，但他始终不知道自己的亲生儿子究竟是哪一个。 Domenico, a successfull businessman, with an eye for the girls, begins an affair with Filumena when she is 17 years old. She becomes a prostitute, but also becomes the mistress of Domenico. He eventually sets her up in an apartment, and she works for him in his various businesses. She secretly bears three children, who are raised by nannys. Domenico starts planning to marry a young employee. Filumena tricks him into marriage by pretending to be dying. Domenico annuls the marriage. Filumena then tells him of the three children. She says that one of the children belongs to Domenico, but will not say which one is his. You start to believe that all of the children could be his, and Domenico then marries Filumena again, this time willingly.

对我来说是个大悲剧的底，没有笑点，不过剧情很流畅，不会出戏。我也不知道好在哪里，我甚至没有看懂男主爱没爱过女主，女主结婚是因为爱还是恨，三个孩子是不是都是男主的，它就像我拼不好的拼图解不开的鲁班锁，因为神秘所以想一探究竟。
索菲亚罗兰真有气质，意大利女人。看的时候，屡次被逗笑，我还以为德西卡是苦情式导演，结果后期拍了这么多喜剧片。结尾两人终于结婚后，女人哭泣，男人低头，联想到《笑傲江湖》的结尾。虽到了结局，却没有人赢了，每个人都落入了生活的陷阱圈套，一败涂地地输了。
202308：情节一波三折，男女主角的性格刻画都非常到位。一个人最终让人另眼相看的，不是地位身份或财富，而是良善。

“你记得住购买一件衣服或一双鞋的日期，但却记不住我们之间的日子”影片前半段以喜剧为主，但略显平淡，而后半段揭示了三个孩子的存在之后，影片变成了两人的情感斗争，更加吸引人。其中不断闪回的爱情生活片段在这种斗争的烘托下更是迷人
罗兰性感丰饶男主很帅但不适合这个角色，大团圆的美好，剧情就这样，不够深刻，配乐歌曲好听
小时候六公主频道经常播放我也反复看，曾经懵懂的孩子看不懂剧情只知道看漂亮的女主角身材好长的漂亮，多少年以后再看感悟很深。女人希望浪子从一而终，而男的却看不起年轻的妓女只是想占有对方年轻的身体和免费的劳动力照顾他的母亲。
