看玛丽女王的电影时一直想着这部片（三年前看的居然没有标记。很喜欢里面的隔空对话，两位演员加旁白就撑起了整个叙事，没有具体的场景但是把什么都讲的非常明白。而看玛丽女王的电影时感觉它还给这段历史还赋予了一些两性对立的色彩...过于复杂了......还是BBC纪录片牛逼。

好喜欢人物面对镜头独白式的表现形式，玛丽的演员绝美。全片主要围绕两位女王的恩怨，镜头并不丰富，但是很有意思。
画质音质都很棒，演员选得很到位啊。感觉Lord Burghley简直要挟天子了。。。以及这两位几十年都没见面只靠书信沟通也是很迷。
这个很好看，两个人的关系很微妙，整个纪录片的形式也很有新意。
