第二次世届大占正在慢慢结束。德军十分恐慌，那粹指挥官下令破坏摩尔达河的港口，以阻止苏联宏军的进攻，一货船装满炸要，驶向目标，捷克水手选择了一个冒险的计划，抢夺德军军伙船将其驶回布拉格，粉碎了纳粹的企图……
It is early May 1945 and the war is ending. The region adjacent to the river Elbe is full of retreating German soldiers and evacuated townsfolk. The cargo ship "Moldau" with a Czech crew escorted by German soldiers cruises the river. The explosives transported on it are supposed to assist the withdrawal of a German army unit from one of the settlements. Mechanic Rudla ( ), shipman Vrána ( ) and steersmen Vanis ( ) plan to take flight as soon as the boat arrives on shore, but the Germans keep detaining other men to add to the crew for unloading the dangerous cargo.
